Animating a call to action for the Youth Climate Strike

In 2019 I wrote and co-directed an animated call for action in advance of the Youth Climate Strike with Bemo Studios, for Amplifier.org. This youth-driven climate awareness PSA was a collaboration in cutting edge visualizing this story using an illustrative CG approach that looped in some cel animation and rotoscope techniques.

Released in the days before the Climate Strike and in support of Youth v. Gov the animated film spread across Social Media through 350.org, the Sierra Club, and Influencers from across the National Geographic photographer network resulting in tens of millions of views.

Strike with Us was an official selection in the Telluride Mountain Film Festival and The Wild and Scenic Film festival and part of their traveling screenings across the country from 2019-2021.
